Creole met his first duck a couple of weeks ago. He's a pointer mix and while he certainly can swim, he just isn't as fast as the ducks are. 
He sure tried, though!
We're about two weeks away from finding out what's next. Our fingers are still crossed for SoCal, but we'll see what happens. We may end up right back where we started, which will be really weird considering that there are tenants in our house. 
I won't be disappointed if we go back there, I just hope we don't wind up at the other two options.
I hope you all had a very Happy Thanksgiving. Ours went well, if tiring. I certainly have a lot to be thankful for this year, not the least of which is spending my first holiday season with my husband, as his wife.
