Our send off
We're in the south. The deep south, for all intents and purposes.
This is what we woke up to this morning. 
Yesterday we had severe storms, to include flooding and tornadoes. Today, this. What a send off!
We're out of here next week, headed back to the land of the Marine Corps. We're going to be in a temporary rental across the street from the beach for about 4 months, as we decided to build a house in a new subdivision. It should be interesting! I'm going to go play in the snow, but I'll post some floor plans and such in a bit.

I'm sorry I never figured it out before! I should have known, with all the trouble you had with housing here. We are moving as well, but not until this summer.

I'm really sad you didn't enjoy your time when you were there. I lived there in '07 and made friends with most all of the other Marine Wives on post and they have become some of my best friends. I also became best friends with the Army wife who lived next door. I hold that place in such a high regard, I miss it so much, but I know it was less about the base and more about the friends we made. Hopefully the next stop will be better.
